Tesla Non-Approved Body Shop Program

Project Objective Develop, implement, and run a system that allows 3rd party body shops to order parts and receive technical assistance from ordering the correct part for the vehicle, to order fulfillment.
Project Outcome Project launch
Deliverables The program as a whole; features as they were added to the program

Project Description

A project charter was created to start a program that allowed 3rd party, non-approved, body shops to order parts. This was an agile project, so I worked directly with the Product Owner and other team members to identify feature needs, develop sprint schedules for those features, and implement quality control of the program. We had weekly stand up meetings to discuss what was on the next sprint, what feedback we were getting from the customers, and estimates of our story points. We delivered a program that allowed anybody with a Tesla VIN number to order parts and then be able to track those orders through fulfillment.

Tesla Parts Catalog Refresh

Project Objective Update the electronic parts catalog for each vehicle model to remove errors, add details, and overall improve the quality and ease of use.
Project Outcome Re-release of new parts catalogs for four separate vehicles
Deliverables Section by section updates leading to a new overall catalog for each model vehicle

Project Description

A team led by myself identified the major risk that our parts catalogs were outdated and contained many errors. I put together a team to review each section of each catalog, per model, and then communicated cross-functionally with the team tasked to make said changes. After communication that change requests had been implemented, I led my team to verify the scope, quality, and completeness of noted errors. The project duration was requested to be completed in 3 months. I had to manage the schedule of my team to make sure we were on track to finish in time. The 3-month timeline was established by myself with key subject matter experts by identifying how long each task was estimated to take to complete.

Project Description

As the Sequencing & Project Manager I was responsible for handling multiple pilot projects and entrusted to lead a team to generate genomic profiles of 800 production/field samples. This led to endorsing the company's "Proof of Concept," which played a significant role in the acquisition of Taxon Biosciences by DuPont Pioneer.
